Crazy

I often remember a joke that our Brother, who was our Novitiate Master, told us one day.

I know it may not be politically correct to say it now. But you must forgive for writing it.

A tower like multi-storey building. A crazy guy has climbed up on its roof. He threatens to jump and is getting ready to jump. The fire force people are with a stretched life-net below. "No one comes up, I will certainly jump" - he threatens again. When he comes to one edge of the building, the fire force comes to that side. Then he goes to the other side. The fire force also following his side. This drama goes on for a while. Then, a man from the other side of the road who has an axe in his hand calls out to the man on top of the building. "Are you coming down or not? I'll count to twenty. If you don't come down in the meantime, I'm going to chop down this building," he says angrily. Pounding the axe to the ground he begins.

One... two... three...

Before he counted to twenty, the man on the rooftop had already come down!

Reason doesn't work all the time!
