Yesterday I wrote the movie, 'Paul, Apostle of Christ'. In that movie Cassius is a young man who rebels against Aquila and Priscilla - the leaders in the Roman Church. His cousin brother - a young lad- was killed by the persecutors. Cassius became very frustrated and angry. When he got into an argument with them Luke was present in the community. Then he said to Cassius that Paul never wanted to take revenge or sought ill on anyone who persecuted him. But, a while later, upon witnessing the cruelty done by the Roman soldiers to the Christians, he begins to think that there should be some retribution. He voices it out to Paul. Paul was very stern. Here's the conversation between them in the movie.

Luke: "This world doesn't know a thing about love"

Paul: "And so you would give up on the world when Christ did not give up on us?"

Luke: "Why not?"

Paul: "No!"

Luke: "Why not?"

Paul: "Love is the only way. Love that suffers long. Love that is kind, that does not envy, that is not proud. Love that does not dishonor, that does not seek for itself. Love that is not easily angered. Love that rejoices in truth. Love that never delights in evil. Love that protects, trust, hopes, endures all things. That kind of love".

After the World War II we have found out a poem written by an unknown person, probably a Jewish captive who scribbled it on a cellar wall of the German Internment Camp in Cologne. These lines became popular later:

"I believe in the Sun

even when it is not shining

And I believe in love,

even when there is no one there.

And I believe in God,

even when He is silent."

Perhaps the one who wrote it might have been killed on the next day!
